You do not need to know the name of the treatment you need. Tell me what you would like to solve or improve — appearance, broken or missing teeth, chewing, comfort, loose dentures, previous dental work, or a treatment recommendation that feels complicated.
For patients
Request an assessment for aesthetic, restorative, implant, denture or complex prosthodontic concerns.
For dentists
Discuss a referral, treatment-planning question, shared-care case or potential in-practice collaboration.
Academic & professional
Research collaboration, invited writing, editorial work, speaking or other professional enquiries.
What to include
A short message is enough. If you are a patient, it helps to include:
- What you would most like to solve or improve
- Whether the concern is mainly appearance, function, comfort — or a combination
- Any treatment you have already been advised to consider
- Whether you have recent X-rays, scans, photographs or previous implant records
- Your preferred area in British Columbia, if relevant
For extensive or previous treatment, bringing records can make the consultation much more useful.

Before you contact me
Do I need to know whether I need a prosthodontist?
No. If the concern involves how your teeth look, feel or function — especially when several teeth, implants, dentures or previous restorations are involved — the consultation can determine whether specialist care is appropriate.
Do you provide routine emergency toothache treatment?
My work is primarily adult restorative, aesthetic, implant and prosthodontic care. Acute toothache requiring root canal treatment, unrelated emergency extraction and pediatric care are generally better managed by the appropriate general dentist or specialist.
What if I had major dental treatment outside Canada?
I review retreatment after overseas dentistry case by case. Some cases cannot be accepted when implant systems, components, records or technical information cannot be verified or supported in North America.
Can my general dentist remain involved?
Absolutely. Many cases are managed collaboratively. A referral can be limited to consultation, a defined procedure or a specialist phase of treatment, with continuing general care remaining with your dentist.
How can I help you?
Tell me what you would like to solve, restore or improve. That is enough to start the conversation.
